Office in Stockholm

Architectural consultant at Marge Arkitekter. Three buildings, over 100 years old, have been built together to create better flows and functions. New glass roof, relocation of ventilation rooms and lowering of beams have resulted in a 25m atrium and an updated 8000sqm office. The cultural heritage value is at the highest level and it has entailed challenges but also great joy to be able to work with such beautiful details and choice of materials. 

Private, Havsskogen Väddö

The house was constructed in solid wood by Massivverk, with great experience of KL-wood in particular. Shortly after the roofing party, a fire ravaged the grounds and the house was extremely close to being engulfed in flames. Fortunately, it made it and is now being completed internally.

Hotel Pool Room and Sauna

Deep underground under a large hotel in central Stockholm, we created a new pool room with a calm atmosphere. Saunas surround the pool with fluted glass in between for a little discretion. The lighting is indirect behind glass, mirrors, under water or highlights the exposed rock wall

Tyresta Nationalpark, Staff Areas

Wid Ark Des had the great joy of being able to visit the primeval forest several times during the work on the staff areas. The finished result is very personal, the sheepskins on the benches have names (they grew up in the park) and much of the decor is recycled and modified a bit.
